• Never leave wax melts unattended while in use.
• Keep wax melts away from flammable materials and out of reach of children and pets.
• Use wax melts only with appropriate wax melters or warmers designed for wax melts.
• Do not add water or other substances to the wax melt.
• Allow the wax melt and wax melter to cool completely before handling or moving.
• Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the specific wax melt and wax melter being used.
• Keep the wax melter on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Avoid placing the wax melter near drafts, curtains, or other items that may come into contact with the hot wax.
• Discontinue use if the wax melter or wax melt shows signs of damage or malfunction.
• If using tea light wax warmers, use caution when handling lit candles and never leave them burning unattended.

Candles

The majority of our handcrafted sculptural candles are intended to make an interior statement in your home or other desired location. However, we have ensured that our candles have an even and long-lasting burn time by using first-rate cotton wicks and a vegan inspired soy wax blend.                                            

Please note: As all our candles are handmade, unique minor imperfections may occur such as slight colour variations and frosting. This is a natural effect of soy wax and occurs throughout vegetable waxes. It does not affect the performance of the candle in any way and also means your candle is 100% natural.

Candle instructions                   

• Remove all packaging and labels before burning.
• Place candle on a candle plate or flat dish to gather any dripping wax.
• Ensure the candle is lit in a spacious area and away from flammable objects. 
• Always keep burning candles within sight.
• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets. 
• Remember to safely extinguish your candle after use.                          

First burn

The candle’s first burn is an important step to avoid tunnelling. Tunnelling occurs when the first burn does not last long enough. A candle memory ring of wax is formed in the centre of the candle after a brief initial burn. This can prove wasteful. Not only does it leave wax behind in the candle, but it also frequently results in an extinguished flame and a candle that cannot be burned.

To avoid this, allow the candle to burn for at least 1 hour. Trimming the wick to 1/4 inch will also ensure a cleaner burn and proper-sized flame. 

     Ongoing burns  

To ensure a consistent, smoke-free flame, we recommend trimming the wick 2 to 3 centimetres from the surface of the wax before relighting your candle.

Do not burn your candle for more than 3 hours at a time.
